New Geraldton Compressor Service Division

14/02/08 - Champion Compressors has recently appointed Maicon Engineering, based in Geraldton, Western Australia to join Champion’s nation-wide air compressor service and maintenance network.

Expanding the company’s reach to 20 distributors/service agents, Champion is positioned to further enhance its formidable reputation as a national leader in compressed air technology. “The addition of Maicon Engineering to our family further underlines our commitment to providing our customers with local know-how and country-wide air compressor expertise,” said Mark Ferguson, general manager – branch operations, Champion Compressors.

The pairing of Geraldton’s foremost engineering maintenance and construction firm, Maicon Engineering, and Champion provides mid-west WA industry with a crucial link in the region’s engineering services. According to Maicon Engineering’s director, Greg Crook, the recent appointment of Maicon as an official Champion sales and service agent adds another ‘feather in the cap’ of what is already a thriving and expanding enterprise. “Our extensive engineering maintenance and construction experience within the mining and mineral sands industries stands us in good stead when representing Champion out in the field,” said Crook.

Maicon will be offering Champion's reciprocating air compressors and rotary screw air compressors amongst a host of other compressed air products.
