New HQ To Be Unveiled In February 2009

06/11/08 -Australia’s leading compressed air technology group, Champion Compressors, will unveil its new national headquarters at an official opening for key customers, staff, industry partners and media in February 2009.

Located in Australia’s manufacturing heartland, the Melbourne’s south-eastern suburb of Dandenong, Champion’s new national headquarters provides the compressed-air specialist with significant room to grow. When compared with the company’s previous home, the new facility provides three-times the manufacturing capacity, a three-fold increase in sales and technical support office space, plus four-times its loading and parking facilities.

The opening event will be held in the morning of Monday 9 February 2009, and will include presentations by guest dignitaries, a tour of the expansive new site, and a brief technical presentation providing an overview of the current and future directions of Champion’s air compressor solution-set.

The relocation to the new site (324 to 332 Frankston-Dandenong Road, Dandenong) was largely completed by end-October/early November 2008. It consolidates Champion’s manufacturing, sales and technical support centres into a single state-of-the-art business/manufacturing facility, and provides Australia’s industrial sector with premium access to the company’s compressed air solutions. It also supports the company’s ongoing production and market support expansion strategy.

This expansion has been necessitated by Champion Compressors’ extraordinary growth over the past ten years--a growth catalysed by global industry’s continued demand for compressed air solutions that are engineered tough for performance in challenging conditions.
