Business As Usual

United Technologies announced last week that it is actively pursuing the sale of a number of assets, including Hamilton Sundstrand’s Industrial businesses - Milton Roy, Sullair and Sundyne so that UTC can focus on their commercial and aerospace businesses. Proceeds from the sales will help eliminate the need for UTC to issue equity to fund the Goodrich transaction. Sullair remains a great company with great customers and channel partners and this announcement represents a tremendous opportunity for growth and investment in our company. Sullair will continue with business as usual throughout this process to deliver quality products and services. You may hear the term “Discontinued Operations” when referring to the Industrial businesses including Sullair. This does not mean we are shutting down Sullair or closing any sites. This is merely an accounting term that reflects our status as an asset for sale. Day-to-day operations will continue as normal and no sites are being closed. At this point there is no buyer identified but we will continue to communicate as much detail as possible in the upcoming months.
