Drill Compressor

The drilling industry has a unique set of requirements and needs for their air compressor applications. Do you need capacity control and flexible power in an extreme drilling environment?

Power to move mountains ... or drill a hole in one! Our drill compressor line includes single-stage and two-stage Airends, components, and complete modules. Our line-up ranges from 160 to 3850 cfm and up to 500 psi in selected models.

Ever dependable, the two-stage Airend has proven its reliability in the field and is the industry standard. Controlled from a remote-mounted manual selector valve, the two-stage compressor unit can operate in low mode (150 psi minimum) or high mode (250 – 500 psi). In addition, the remote-mounted ASME pressure vessel includes a two-stage air/oil separator with service indicator and ASME pressure relief valve.

Equipped to monitor the heat and fluctuating pressure of daily operation, these machines provide the flexibility in featuring switches to assure correct pressure and temperatures and to activate customer shutdown or warning system in case of excessive temperatures or abnormally low operating pressure. Among the designs is a closed inlet start system that provides automatic cold weather start and warm-up capability, as well as protection against lubrication failures.

Options

The Sullair Drill Compressor provides you with all the options you would ever need:

• Oil filtration: full-flow element with service indicator for compressor oil.
• Air filtration: two-stage dry air cleaner with service indicator for compressor inlet.
• Instrumentation: gauges to measure receiver pressure and compressor discharge temperature, and sight glass for oil level.
• Custom design and engineering services to ensure that you have an effective air compressor system.
• Choice of connection of drive methods available: standard models may be direct driven through a flywheel coupling and SAE adapter provided or a drive shaft selected by the customer to match standard spicer joints.
