On 1st July 2021, Sullair Australia Pty Ltd. acquired the business operations of Northern Controls & Engineering (Queensland) Pty Ltd. The business continues to operate under the same business model, supporting the supply, service and maintenance of compressed air equipment to the Northern Queensland region.
Northern Controls was established in Townsville, North Queensland in 1988 and was bought by Craig and Angie Wienert in 2006. The business has been a proud distributor of Sullair and Champion products ever since and now supplies exclusively Sullair and Champion products and services to the region.
The business continues to operate out of the same location at Unit 6/72-78 Crocodile Cres, Mount St John, Queensland, 4818, with field service staff remaining part of the team, offering the same exceptional support to customers.
Craig Wienert of Northern Controls commented on the acquisition as an exciting new venture for the company—and one that benefits customers.

Nick Shepherd, Sales & Marketing Manager for Sullair Australia, has served as the project lead on the acquisition since early 2021.
